Not All Moving Boxes are the same !
OK - so it's easy to think that a cardboard moving box is just a cardboard moving box - right?
Well not necessarily so.
The majority of boxes that are sold to move home with are cheap lightweight boxes that look fine until you start to fill them with your possessions.
These boxes are lightweight because they are constructed using a single layer of corrugate card hence the phrase "single walled" box. Unfortunately many online retailers of moving boxes will not tell you this, but still charge you a substantial amount for such items - buyer beware !
Here at Big Brown Box we sell double walled moving boxes, which as it's name suggests is made from a double layer of corrugate card making our boxes the only choice when moving home. Each cardboard box is strong enough to be stacked up once filled, and can be used time and time again due to their strength.
Do not buy boxes unless you know the quality. REMEMBER boxes called simply "sturdy" or "strong" will more than likely be single walled flimsy boxes!!
