@ Start early. Packing will almost certainly take longer than anticipated.
@ Begin at the top of the house and work downwards. If you have a loft or attic, sort that first.
@ Use moving home as an opportunity to declutter. Throw away any rubbish and separate any items that can be given to family or charity Shops.
@ Try not to use the flimsy single wall boxes which some people sell. Remember all our cardboard boxes are double wall construction, so your belongings are safely protected.

@ Pack one room at a time, clearly labelling each box with contents and the room it belongs to.
@ Clearly label any boxes which contain breakables. Our bubble wrap will come in handy here.
@ Wrap each breakable item separately in our bubblewrap or tissue paper.
@ It might sound obvious, but pack heavy items at the bottom of your boxes and lighter ones on top.
