Moving house and need a TV packing box?
Moving house is stressful enough without having to worry to about your most valuable possessions such as your flat screen being damaged when in transit. So, to help you relieve the stress, we have put together our top tips on how to safely pack your flat screen television for moving.
Ideally, you kept the original packaging when you purchased the TV. If you have, you’ll have everything you need to secure the TV.

The first thing to do when packing up your television is to secure the remote control to the back of the TV with tape. Small items can often be lost in boxes so it is important to keep the remote together with the television.
To protect the delicate flat screen, we’d recommend you use foam wrap. Foam wrap is great as it protects against scuffs and scratches whilst its structure allows it to absorb any knocks received when in transit. The foam wrap can easily be secured to your TV using tape.
What TV packing box should you use to pack your TV?

These boxes allow your television to slide in easily and have enough space to accommodate the foam wrap packing as well as some additional packing to further protect your TV, preventing it from moving inside the box. The box should then be sealed shut with packing tape and we’d always recommend using some fragile packing tape to alert movers to take extra care with that box!
Remember to always keep the television packing box in an upright position and ideally (if space allows) nothing should be packed on top of the box containing your TV.
